In early 2001 Ogre, along with Mark Walk, released Welt under the name ohGr, a project that in it's current form began in 1995 after the demise of Skinny Puppy, but was originally conceived in 1989 (see the Ministry page). Originally to be released by American Recordings, the project (then known as W.E.L.T.) was dropped by the label in 1995. It wasn't until 2000 that Ogre and Walk signed with Spitfire and the music was finally released the following year.

Welt was released on March 20 2001, although much of the music on the album was written in 1995. A limited edition version with each copy personally autographed by Ogre was also released and sold out very quickly. Unlike the regular release, the limited edition is in a Digipak with pop-out artwork.

In the summer of 2001 ohGr toured North America. The members of the 2001 touring band were: Ogre: vocals, cEvin Key: drums, William Morrison: guitar, Tim Skold: bass, and Loki Der Quaeler: keyboards. On this tour the band was often billed as "the remains of Skinny Puppy" for promotional purposes, but no Skinny Puppy songs were ever played.

Ticket stub from Pittsburgh, PA

The set list was as follows:
Chicks Are For Power (intro music)

Suhleap

Devil

Earthworm

SoLow

Dog

Cracker

Water

HiLo

Lusid

Watergate

Kettle

Minus

Chaos

--Encore--

Magik

Frozen Sky

There was at least one exception to the setlist and that was at the Pittsburgh date (I know this because I was there). Suhleap, HiLo, and Majik were not played. The regular set (after the intro music) began with Devil and ended with Minus. The Encore was Frozen Sky and Chaos. I believe this had to do with time restrictions set by the club.

The second ohGr album, SunnyPsyOp (short for Sunny Psychological Operations), was released on July 1, 2003. There was talk of a short tour for 2003, but it never happened and the official website was eventually closed.

In September 2007 ohGr.com reopened with a new look and slogan "We Are Atomic". Lucky for us fans, the intro video to the website was posted on YouTube before it was taken down from the website forever:

The "atomic" theme was later dropped, but not before t-shirts were printed and sold for a short time with the We Are Atomic logo. Ogre would also go on the mention the next album would be titled Blurry Dotted I's, a reference to his dog's poor vision, but that concept was also dropped and the album that was eventually completed was Devils In My Details.

Devils In My Details was released on October 21, 2008 everywhere except the U.S. where the release was delayed until November 4. The tour in support of DIMD was officially called DTOUR. The entire DIMD album was played in order and the rest of the show was filled out with songs from the previous two CD's. The members of the 2008 touring band were: Ogre: vocals, William Morrison: guitar, Justin Bennett: drums, and Squigg: keyboards. This was the set list:

Opening for ohGr was the multimedia presentation "American Memory Project" by William Morrison and Justin Bennett.

The fourth ohGr album, Undeveloped, was released May 10, 2011. It was followed by a short tour in December 2011 limited to the western U.S. and one stop in Vancouver. The tour was titled Western Fallout 001. Once again the band consisted of Ogre, William Morrison, Justin Bennett and Squigg. Opening for ohGr on that tour was Left Spine Down and Violet Tremors. Despite the 001 in the title, no other legs for this tour were ever scheduled or even planned. The set list was as follows:
